A New Year, A New Purpose

It’s 2010 and I couldn’t happier. Many wonderful things happened in 2009 (married my best friend, and got pregnant) but it was a tough year (step-dad went through cancer treatment, my pay was cut and my hours increased). I’m looking forward to a new year. And though I am optimistic every year, I do feel [...]

Conflicted and Afflicted

I am supposed to be traveling over the mountains to beautiful, scenic Twisp, Washington right now to spend the weekend with some of my favorite super women. They are having an awesome workshop and hafla event. Alas, I’m not feeling well and with the seasonal diseases lurking, I am not willing to push my chances. [...]

It’s All About the Walnut

This year belly dance camp delivered in a big way. It was hotter than a coon skin cap in the jungle. I sweat non-stop, even when I was standing still. The workshops were intense and required using muscles I’ve never met. I was a in a constant state of pain. And there were bugs that [...]

  • List six silly things that make you happy.
  • Mention and link to the person who tagged you (oops, I wasn’t tagged and I don’t remember where I saw it)
  • Tag six of your favorite bloggers to play along (no tagging, if you’d like to participate, that’s is entirely up to you as a reader of living juicy.)

In no particular order, with photos, six silly things that make me happy:

Wedding Photos Online

If you attended the wedding you may have noticed two busy women running around capturing our big day. Christine Tremoulet and Elaine Mesker-Garcia have both the creative vision and personality to enhance any wedding or big event. I can not say enough about how helpful they were during the event helping everyone keep their cool [...]

Road Trip to Texas

Chris helped me drive down to Texas a week ago. We had a great time on the road despite some initial course corrections. He left on Wednesday and now I am spending the next couple of weeks finalizing all the details. I have some amazing vendors. I will write a post about them soon. For [...]
