I’ve been cleared to resume my “normal activities” and so it’s time to get back to my commitment of making dinner each night.
Some days I do better than others. It’s been fairly warm this week. Salad is the perfect thing when you don’t want to turn the oven on (and you only have 10 minutes to prepare a meal). Warning: this isn’t your normal low calorie, low fat salad.
Here is a delicious salad in seven easy steps, a photographic recipe by yours truly.
Step 1: Chop Spinach and Basil

I’m going to have to eliminate those beautiful red tomato next time. Every time I eat tomato (I think?) Bren looses his lunch.
