Certainly, Brazoria County boasts a bigger event, but the Island County Fair was a fun event.

In my youth, I spent my time at the fairgrounds riding any ride that made you dizzy enough to puke and running around with my friends. As a young adult, I spent most of my time in the beer gardens or at the barbecue cook-off. These days, I find my thrills in the exhibit halls. Here are some of my favorite photos from the day.
