Boy it was big shit down at the local pub tonight. Dr. Phil’s film crew was there taping this guy Donnie who’s lost a lot of weight on his weight loss plan. Donnie is the lead singer in a band and they played. They were also taking video applications to win a date with Donnie. We considered it briefly but decided against it, since we weren’t interested in dating him. Not that he doesn’t seem like a funky cool kind of dude but 41 is a bit out of my age range.
Anyway, it was packed at the bar. Plus, it was cold too. Everyone was huddled around butane heaters and bopping away to the music. Actually, it was a great time. Not much happens around here. But when there are cameras you can be sure half of Angleton is there.
I also saw Along Came Polly today. Man, I laughed my ass off. What a good movie. I really like Jennifer Aniston’s character. I recommend it. It would be a good date movie. Ben Stiller makes me pee my pants. Heh.
